WAMENA, Nies World TV – The Child Development Program of the Indonesian Gospel Camp Church (GKII Logotpaga Congregation) continues in Logotpaga Village, Jayawijaya Regency, Papua Highlands.
The activity was attended by the Pastor of the GKII Logotpaga Congregation, Reverend Yus Kogoya, S.Th., and included a short service with 15 beneficiaries of the Church Partner Program on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at approximately 12:00 PM Papua Time.
The Coordinator of the Church Partner Program, Nies Tabuni, stated that the program focuses on child development and preparing future generations.
According to him, mentoring children needs to begin at an early age, including from zero to one year old, and continue through subsequent stages of development.
"We focus on this vision because it relates to child development. We recognize that preparing the next generation is a mandate. Therefore, we continue to prepare the children we mentor from zero to one year old and beyond," said Nies Tabuni in a statement.
He said that, in addition to mentoring, the program is also aimed at helping children obtain an education for a brighter future.
"We will strive to educate them so they have a bright future. If we don't prepare this generation, they could lose their way," he said.
Nies explained that the Church Partner Program focuses not only on education but also on the overall development of children.
Aspects of concern include physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development.
"We will continue to strive to help our younger siblings through various aspects, from physical, social, emotional, cognitive, to spiritual. Our focus is on strengthening the church and ensuring that this program can deliver maximum results in the future," Nies explained.
He hopes the Child Development Program can continue to be implemented sustainably with the support of the church, families, and the community.
The program is expected to develop healthy, educated children with good character, who are ready to contribute to the church and society in the future.
