He believes a strong organization is key to successful sports development.

Saharudin stated that the journey in the world of sports shapes character and leadership. Athletes, coaches, and administrators must go through a long process that determines the direction of achievement.

"Talking about sports is easy, but implementing it is not simple. It requires management, leadership, and a strong commitment to bring the region to compete at the national level," he said.

He encouraged the administrators not to be complacent with initial achievements. He invited all staff to use the Technical Guidance (Bimtek) as a momentum to improve the ranking and competitiveness of Papua Mountains.

The Head of the Technical Guidance Committee, Paul Wetipo, explained that the committee designed this activity to improve the administrators' managerial capacity in managing sports organizations professionally and accountably.

He said participants learned organizational management, the latest sports policies and technology, and leadership strategies in developing athletes and sports.

"We learn communication, management, and leadership. This is where character is formed. Because sports are not just about achievement, but also about character development," Paul said.

The Papua Mountains KONI (Indonesian Sports Committee) aims to strengthen the organizational foundation through this Technical Guidance and prepare the best athletes to compete in the 22nd National Games (PON) in 2028 in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
